SCORENigeria has been reliably informed that Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle will announce a 28-man squad for this month’s AFCON in Morocco as Nigeria begin rebuilding after the failure to qualify for a second straight World Cup.
This was one of the key points from today’s meeting between the NFF technical committee and the Super Eagles coach, as first reported by SCORENigeria
The thrust of today’s meeting was rebuilding the national team after yet another major setback.
An official who attended the meeting told SCORENigeria that it was a very useful discussion that afforded them a closer look at the Super Eagles coach.
“He’s sound, very knowledgeable and has a clear vision for the team,” he said.
“We will help him to rebuild the team.”
