The agent, who brokered the record-breaking transfer of Victor Osimhen from Napoli to Galatasaray in the summer, has said the striker does not need to move away from the Turkish champions.
Some of Europe’s top clubs like Barcelona and PSG have lately been linked to Osimhen, but George Gardi, nicknamed ‘Super Agent’, maintained the striker does not need to change clubs.
“Victor signed for a project, and it’s not just for a season,” he said in an extensive interview to Sky Sports Germany.
“He’s happy in Istanbul, he’s on a great salary, he’s loved by millions of fans, the team is competitive in the champions League, and he’s playing great. Why change?”
Gardi confirmed that Osimhen does not have a release clause on his Galatasaray contract.
He also revealed that he got Napoli to lower the striker’s release clause from 100 million euros to 75 million euros after he convinced the player to extend his contract.
