Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare has missed out on being voted the Player of the Season in Belgium despite finishing as the league’s top scorer.
The Genk striker got 24.20% of the votes by coaches and fellow players to finish in third place.
Club Brugge midfielder Ardon Jashari, 22, claimed the Player of the Season with 32.33% of the votes, while fellow Club brugge teammate Hans Vanaken received 27.79%.
Arokodare was Goal King of the JPL and was also bagged the Ebony Boot as the best African player in the Belgian top league this past season.
