Taiwo Awoniyi is touch-and-go for Nottingham Forest after he suffered a hamstring injury, according to the club boss.
Awoniyi came off in the 86th minute in the clash against Manchester United.
Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo said the striker is now being assessed “day-to-day” and may miss the home game against Everton as they try to consolidate on third position.
“We are going to have to assess day by day, him and Chris (Wood), to see if they can help us in the next one,” the manager said.
“Let’s see about the results of the scan on ‘T’ (Awoniyi), then we’ll have a better opinion.
“It’s going to be assessing day by day.”
