He scored 11 goals and made two assists to finish as his club’s leading scorer this past season under review.
Personal highlight was in September when he scored twice for Nice to win at champions PSG and the influential L’Equipe newspaper to dub him ‘Le Price du Parc’.
In his debut season with FC Lorient, he netted 14 goals, this was followed by a blip in the 2021/2022 season when he managed only eight goals.
The 2022/23 season remains his most prolific campaign in France as he netted a total of 18 goals (12 for OGC Nice, 6 for Lorient).
Altogether, he has now scored 51 goals and made 12 assists in 133 appearances in France.
Last year, he rejected tempting offers to move to the Premier League with West Ham and Southampton pushing for his signature.
The Transfermarkt valuation of Moffi has now shot up to 25 Million Euros.
His club Nice were front runners for the Ligue 1 club for many weeks, before they suffered a slump in form and eventually ended the season in fifth place with 55 points from 34 matches.
The club from the South of France will therefore feature in the UEFA Europa Conference League in the coming season.
Moffi was snapped up from Lorient last year for Nice to challenge the dominance of PSG.
The powerful, left-footed striker will also be looking forward for a lot more consistency with the Super Eagles.
He has netted four goals in 18 appearances for the national team.
He was a late replacement for injured Victor Boniface for the AFCON this year.
The highlight of his first major tournament with the Super Eagles was his goal in the penalty shootout victory against South Africa in the semifinal.
He coolly slotted past goalkeeper Ronwen Williams for the Super Eagles to soar into their eighth AFCON final in February.
