Angola saw off Namibia 3-0 tonight to set up an AFCON quarterfinal against either the Super Eagles or Cameroon Friday.
Man of the Match Gelson Dala fired a brace for the Palancas Negras of Angola in the opening half, which also saw both teams lose a player each through a red card.
Dala has now netted four goals at this AFCON.
In the second half, Mabalulu made it 3-0 for Angola with a sweet finish.
It was a third consecutive win at the AFCON for the Angolans, who hosted the 2010 AFCON.
They thus matched their best performance at the AFCON by reaching the quarterfinal, like they achieved in 2008 and 2010.
