A top source has informed SCORENigeria that clubs from Norway, France and Belgium are jostling for the signature of Flying Eagles winger Ibrahim Mohammed ‘Beji’.
The clubs are talking to Spanish Segunda Division side Cartegena, who own his economic rights even though he has yet to play for them.
“Hopefully one of these clubs will reach an agreement with the Spanish club and the player will make a transfer,” the source told SCORENigeria
‘Beji’ scored a goal against hosts Argentina at this year’s U20 World Cup and was the Flying Eagles top scorer at both the WAFU U20 AFCON qualifiers as well as the U20 AFCON.
Flying Eagles stars Haliru Sarki, Chijioke Aniagboso, Jude Sunday and Solomon Agbalaka have already taken their football overseas.
