French Ligue 1 outfit RC Lens have tabled a bid of eight Million Pounds for Middlesbrough striker Chuba Akpom.
Lens have concretised their interest in the 27-year-old striker with a formal offer, according to Sky Sport.
The Ligue 1 club have lost Belgian striker Lois Openda to Red Bull Leipzig in this window.
His Transfermarkt valuation is 12 Million Euros.
His contract at ‘Boro runs out next summer.
Last season, Akpom enjoyed his most prolific campaign ever when he scored 28 goals in the English Championship to be named the best player of the league.
The former Arsenal ace, who has pledged his international future to Nigeria after he featured for England at age-grade levels, has previously played in Greece and Belgium.
