Cyriel Dessers netted what proved to be the match winner for Rangers to edge past Servette 2-1 in a UEFA Champions League third round first leg clash tonight.
Host team Rangers scored twice with Dessers grabbing the second on 13 minutes with a simple tap-in.
It was his first goal for his new club.
But it was also the striker who caused the penalty from which the Swiss side halved the deficit.
Dessers insisted after the game that it should not have been a penalty against him.
