Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso has told SCORENigeria that he expects highly-rated Inter Milan youngster Ebenezer Akinsanmiro to join his squad in Argentina in time for the World Cup.
SCORENigeria has already reported that Inter have informed the NFF that the 18-year-old midfielder will only join up with the Flying Eagles by May 13.
This will be barely a week to the Flying Eagles opening group game against the Dominican Republic in Mendoza.
“At this time, Akinsanmiro is the only professional I expect to join us in Argentina,” Bosso told SCORENigeria
“That means the other professionals will fly out with us from Abuja.”
The team are scheduled to depart for Argentina on Saturday May 6 so as to finalise their build-up for the World Cup.
The Flying Eagles have invited a dozen professionals including Michael Ologo (Turkey), Victor Eletu (Italy), Emmanuel Umeh, Tochukwu Nnadi (Bulgaria) and Abel Ogwuche (Sweden)for the competition.
Bosso has maintained the invitations were to help in areas of his team that need to be strengthened.
