Victor Osimhen is a fantastic player who can play in any club in the world, according to former Super Eagles star Jonathan Akpoborie.
Akpoborie made his name in the German Bundesliga after he made history with the Baby Eagles (now Golden Eaglets) to win the inaugural FIFA U17 in 1985 in China.
“Osimhen can play in any team in the world,” Akpoborie remarked in an interview.
“He’s fantastic, one of the best strikers in Europe, he has been consistent and he has the quality.
“But he has to make the sacrifices to stay at the top.
“And that will include putting away what affects his private life.”
Ironically, while Akpoborie shone at Wolfsburg, Osimhen did not, only for him to use that setback in Germany to lift himself to top world football reckoning some few years later.
