Oghenekaro Etebo is in a race against time to join Aris from Stoke City as the transfer window in Greece will shut down on September 15.
Stoke City have not registered the midfielder for this season and it has already been reported that they have reached an agreement with Aris for the player.
Aris are now working on the personal terms of the Super Eagles star.
They Greek club finished third last season and will feature in the UEFA Europa League.
Etebo joined Stoke City in 2018, but he has played mostly on loan with Getafe, Galatasaray and Watford.
