Arsenal are now ready to break their transfer record to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, according to reports.
The London club paid £72m fee for Nicolas Pepe in 2019.
Napoli are demanding £86m to let Osimhen go this summer and according to The Sun, Arsenal have not been put off by the price tag.
Manchester United are also interested in a deal for the striker as Erik ten Hag looks to support Cristiano Ronaldo up front.
Osimhen has scored 24 goals in 51 Serie A games since a £60m move from Lille in 2020.
And Arsenal have been monitoring him since his days in France.
Mikel Arteta has reckoned he would be the perfect replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, who has just rejoined Lyon on a free transfer.
