Hundreds of youths today staged a peaceful march in Abuja to protest against the alleged corruption at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The protest was by the sidelines of the corruption case at the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, where Justice Ifeoma Ojukwu issued a bench warrant for the arrest of top of NFF ficials after they again failed to appear before her today.

The protesters displayed placards and banners at the corridors of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, the Federal High Court as well as the Federal Ministry of Justice.
Some of the inscriptions on the placards read: ‘Corrupt NFF Must Go!’, ’Please President Buhari Save Our Football & Youths’, ’ NFF House of Corruption Buhari Must Act’ and ‘Nigeria Football Under Chains Under Pinnick’.
“This march is in the main to create awareness of the looting and stealing at the NFF by a gang of top officials,” said one of the protesters, Charles Amoebi.
“We want the whole world to know that these people have mortgaged our future by their greed and selfishness.
“They are criminals and they must answer to their crimes.”
He alleged that in five years Pinnick and his top officials have siphoned over $16.5 million meant for the development of football in the country to their own pockets, citing various instances of this embezzlement.
The protest was covered by various media outlets.
