Victor Osimhen will after all feature for Napoli in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League group game at Leicester City, who will line up fellow Nigeria stars Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman.
Osimhen, who featured in a 2-1 win over Juventus at the weekend, was in danger of missing out on the game after he visited red-listed Cape Verde with the Super Eagles in a 2022 World Cup qualifier.
The British Government has amended the law so that players for UEFA club competitions are exempted from quarantine even after they would have visited a red-listed country.
At a time it was believed that Osimhen would need a special visa to enter England for the Leicester City tie.
