European champions Chelsea have so far rejected three bids by Genk for Ike Ugbo because it does not match their valuation of the striker.
Chelsea want six Million Euros for the striker, whose parents are Nigerian but he was born in England.
However, The Athletic has reported that Genk and Chelsea are still discussing the transfer of the striker, who scored 17 goals last season for another Belgian club, Cercle Brugge.
He is seen as a direct replacement for Paul Onuachu, who is still expected to make a big transfer despite the delay.
Ugbo, 22, has equally interested other clubs across Europe.
