Mexico have announced they will take on the Super Eagles in a friendly on July 3 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Both countries have clashed five times at this level – four draws with Mexico recording a win.
Their last meeting was in October 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia, and the game ended in a goalless draw.
Mexico are ranked 11th in the FIFA Ranking, while Nigeria are 32nd.
Mexico will use this game as part of their preparations for the CONCACAF Gold Cup, which kicks off on July 10.
They have also lined up games against Iceland, Honduras and Panama all in the USA.
