Man of the Match Chidera Ejuke scored a goal for CSKA Moscow to stay in the Russian championship race courtesy of a 2-0 home win over Rotor.
Ejuke opened scoring in the 45th minute, when he fired a right-footed shot from outside the box.
The 23-year-old forward has now scored three goals and provided two assists in 20 league appearances for the Russian army team.
CSKA Moscow are now fourth on the table with 46 points from 25 matches, just a point behind second-placed Spartak Moscow with five rounds of matches to still be played.
