Chidera Ejuke scored a consolation goal for SC Heerenveen in a 2-1 loss to fellow Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in a pre-season friendly.
Visitors Vitesse shot to a 2-0 lead after just 15 minutes, before Ejuke pulled a goal back just before half time.
He was faster than the opposing defence before he slid the ball past the Vitesse goalkeeper.
Ejuke has been linked with a move away from Heerenveen, but so far no firm offer has met the 10 million Euros valuation of his club.
Fellow Nigerian midfielder Hamdi Akujobi was introduced to the fray in the 36th minute following injury to a teammate.
