Spanish newspaper Marca has reported that the Halftime Show at tomorrow night’s World Cup final between Spain and Argentina will not be for 30 minutes as widely reported.
British media led by The Times and The Telegraph reported that FIFA are breaking their own rules by making the Halftime Show half an hour, double the usual 15 minutes allowed for a halftime.
However, Marca has now reported that FIFA have the Argentine and Spanish football federations that the half-time break will be 17 minutes long.
Artists are expected to perform for 11 minutes, while it is planned to take six minutes to set up and take down a stage, as well as water the grass.
Nigeria’s Burna Boy will be among the international musical acts who will perform at the Halftime Show tomorrow night.
