Jerome Akor has been left out of Sevilla pre-season training just as Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille are lurking in the background to hijack the Super Eagles striker from Serie A club Venezia.
An insider in this transfer situation informed SCORENigeria that Sevilla flew out to Krakow, Poland for a pre-season friendly against KS Cracovia without the Super Eagles striker.
It has also been reported that Akor could complete his transfer to newly-promoted Venezia in the new week.
The Italian club will break the bank and pay in excess of 20 million euros to sign the big centre-forward.
However, SCORENigeria has further gathered that Marseille could also be a viable option for Akor as the top French club have serious interest.
