Relegated Wolves called off training after striker Tolu Arokodare refused to leave after he was ordered to by the coach.
New manager Cesar Peixoto has asked Arokodare not to train with the first-team squad as his future is being sorted out.
Extra security has been brought in to ensure the player does not join the first-team training and he will not be part of the team’s pre-season campaign.
The Super Eagles striker has been linked to move away from Wolves after they were relegated from the Premier League.
He was first linked with Italian club Fiorentina, who have since filled up their Non-EU quota of players.
He has also been proposed to another Italian club Genoa, while Turkish giants Trabzonspor remain interested in signing him.
