The Super Eagles embarked on a pay strike on the eve of a 2026 World Cup Playoffs last month in Morocco and SCORENigeria checks have revealed that despite all the promises not all the outstanding monies have been paid.
A source told only SCORENigeria: “It is not all that is owed the team that has been paid.
“It’s now left for the team to decide what to do next.”
It has also been reported that Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle is owed three months’ salary leading to the kick-off of the 2025 AFCON.
The National Sports Commission (NSC) have said they have been paying the coach on behalf of the NFF even though they are not a party to the contract signed in January.
The Super Eagles begin their 2025 AFCON campaign Tuesday in Fes against Tanzania.
