Napoli are now sweating on the fitness of Victor Osimhen for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League group tie at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Osimhen came off the 2-0 win at Sassuolo pointing at his thigh Friday night.
Osimhen was hauled off by Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti in the 84th minute of the match and looked a little concerned as he walked over to the bench, complaining of a physical issue and pointing to his thigh.
Spalletti suggested that the issue was nothing serious when speaking to the press after the match, but Osimhen will undergo a round of tests in the coming days to dispel any doubts over his condition ahead of their European outing.
Osimhen has scored 18 goals in Serie A this season and Napoli are now 18 points clear at the top of the table after 23 rounds of matches.
