Enugu Rangers defender Kenneth Igboke has been handed a late call-up to help solve the leftback problem that the Super Eagles now face leading up to World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin in the new month.

Injury has suddenly robbed the Super Eagles a leftback by trade.
The Super Eagles first choice leftback Zaidu Sanusi has been ruled out since January for an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury which would make him miss close to 10 months of football.
Another option for the position is Bruno Onyemaechi, who is also unfit after missing two straight games before he made a 21-minute cameo against Vizela.
Also, Jamilu Collins who has been out of Cardiff City’s Matchday squads for the past three games is also not fully fit.
Ola Aina, who often deputised in that position at the AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire, has also been declared unfit after struggling to play with pain killers for Nottingham Forest.
The only option who could deputise in that position is Calvin Bassey, who is at his absolute best when played in his natural center back position.
