Samuel Chukwueze has to be another major injury concern for the Super Eagles after the withdrawal of Victor Osimhen from forthcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin.
According to various reports, Chukwueze has not been named in the Rossoneri’s squad for their final game of the season, a friendly against AS Roma on Friday as he continues recovery from injury in Rome.
With just 10 days to the all-important World Cup qualifiers, Chukwueze’s muscle injury has sidelined him since May 11 and so he is now in a race against time to be fit ahead of Nigeria’s double header.
