Will Jerome Akor now be the direct replacement of Victor Boniface at Belgian club Union St.Gilloise?
Victor Boniface has completed his transfer to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga from Union.
Latest reports indicate that Union are “advancing” on signing Akor to replace Victor Boniface.
Last season, another Belgian club Antwerp had a strong interest to sign the 23-year-old Akor.
Several English clubs are also in the chasing pack of the Minna-born centre-forward.
Incidentally, both former Flying Eagles strikers share the same agent, Atta Aneke.
But while Victor Boniface cost Union two Million Euros last year from Bodo/Glimt, fellow Norwegian club Lillestrom will be demanding far more for Akor.
Lillestrom bargaining power is that their striker is currently the leading scorer in Norway with 15 goals in as many matches.
His Transfermarkt value is four Million Euros.
