Abdulrahman Taiwo fired a brace on his debut in Latvia as new club Riga FC thrashed hosts FK Tukums 6-0.
The former Nigeria U23 striker displayed power and poise as he opened scoring in the 42nd minute, before he rounded the rout on 88 minutes.
Taiwo, 24, has joined Riga on a two-year contract from Denmark.
Riga will feature in the UEFA Europa Conference League this season.
They are top of the Latvian league with 58 points from 23 matches, three points ahead of city rivals Rigas FS.
