Leicester City will very much want to sell Kelechi Iheanacho in this summer transfer window because the striker could walk away a free agent next year.
Iheanacho’s contract runs out next summer and he could well sign a pre-contract in January and walk away from Leicester City without a transfer fee on him thereafter.
Latest reports have suggested that Crystal Palace are interested in signing the Super Eagles striker.
According to the Evening Standard, Iheanacho is high on Roy Hodgson’s wish list and Crystal Palace will move in for him should Jean-Philippe Mateta leave this summer.
Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have shown interest in the 26-year-old Mateta.
