Danish club FC Midtjylland are dragging their feet over the transfer of Raphael Onyedika to AC Milan because they want a new coach to decide on the future of the exciting midfielder.
Milan have tabled a four Million Euros bid for Onyedika, but reports have suggested Midtjylland value the player at least 10 Million Euros.
However, negotiations have not progressed as expected because the Danish club have yet to appoint a new coach who approve this transfer.
Bo Henriksen was sacked last month and Midtjylland want to know the plans of their next boss with Onyedika before deciding on whether to agree to Milan’s demands or not.
The Rossoneri management has asked Midtjylland to lower their asking price for the midfielder, who joined them from Nigerian club FC Ebedei in 2019.
In the 2022/23 season, the player, being an integral part of the team, has already made eight appearances across all competitions.
Onyedika, 21, has four years left on his contract at Midtjylland.
