Goal King of Belgium Paul Onuachu has not been listed by Genk for tonight’s home game against KV Oostende leading to various speculations.
There is no explanation for the absence of the striker, who fired 35 goals in 41 games last season.
However, the Super Eagles striker has been in the middle of transfer speculations since his haul of goals last season.
Onuachu has been linked with various Premier League clubs as well as French Ligue 1 side Lyon.
Genk have insisted the giant striker will only be sold at “the right price”.
He has also not been reported to have picked up an injury after he started his team’s first two official matches.
In his absence, fellow Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers will start for Genk tonight.
He replaced an off-colour Onuachu in the season opener at Standard Liege and provided the assist for Genk to salvage a 1-1 draw at Standard.
