Premier League club Watford and Anderlecht have joined the likes of Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam in the race to sign youngster Alhassan Yusuf, who has taken the Swedish league by storm this season.
According to Voetbalkrant, Anderlecht through their scouts have already compiled a list of top transfer targets and the 18-year-old midfielder is one of such targets.
He has made 10 appearances for IFK Goteborg including a Man-of-the-match display against Helsingborg in his first league start for the club.
Only yesterday in Goteborg, the former FC Hearts star signed a representation contract with top agency GSM Agency headed by Patrick Mork, who has done a long list of multi-million Euros transfers involving the likes of Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari, Kwadwo Asamoah and Daniel Amartey.
Mork described Yusuf as “one of the most interesting players in Swedish football today” and promised to make him a top player in Europe.
