SCORENigeria can exclusively reveal that the sensational displays of Alhassan Yusuf have already attracted the interest of mighty Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam.
The scouts of both top European clubs recently tracked the 18-year-old Nigerian midfielder when his club IFK Goteborg thrashed Swedish champions AIK Solna in a league game.
Other top clubs who were represented either by scouts or sports directors at the game included Watford, Genk, Feyenoord, Genoa, Anderlecht and Bayer Leverkusen.
Recently top Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet rated Alhassan as the No 1 U20 talent in Sweden.
This was ahead of highly-rated striker and his teammate at IFK Goteborg Benjamin Nyren and Ivorian defender Odilion Kossonou, who recently moved to Club Brugge on a three million Euros deal.
Alhassan was Man of the Match in his first start against Helsingborgs and he has continued to reproduce such form even as a withdrawn defensive midfielder as IFK Goteborg stay within the front runners in the Swedish top flight this season.
