Former Golden Eaglets winger Victor Udoh has moved to the Premier League after a “hopeless situation” at Belgian club Antwerp.
Antwerp confirmed the player’s departure to Southampton in the Premier League.
Udoh, 20, played a total of 63 minutes in 12 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League all as a substitute.
He failed to score a goal and could not break into the first team.
He is now expected to start out with the Southampton reserves.
