AC Milan starlet Victor Eletu had his first training with the rest of the Flying Eagles squad in Mendoza today ahead of an U20 World Cup Group D opener against the Dominican Republic.
Eletu missed the team’s first training in Mendoza yesterday because he arrived from his Italian base hours after the session.
Officials have said he will sit out tomorrow’s clash against the Dominican Republic on account of his late arrival.
He was delayed by club engagements.
The 18-year-old defensive midfielder is widely tipped to shore up the Flying Eagles engine room at the World Cup in Argentina.
Kick-off time tomorrow is 7pm.
