Norwegian league leaders Bodo/Glimt have now won all their first nine matches this season thanks in part to another goal by Flying Eagles striker Victor Boniface.
Big striker Boniface justified his first start of the season with a well-taken goal five minutes from the break for Bodo/Glimt to lead hosts Mjondalen IF 2-0.
He was set clear on goal and kept his composure to slot the ball home when one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
That is the second goal of the campaign for former Real Sapphire star Boniface, who missed out on the last U20 AFCON due to injury.
Last season, he also had to endure another lengthy stay on the sidelines after he injured his ACL.
Bodo/Glimt have thus racked up 27 points from nine matches to go five points clear of champions Molde, who play later Sunday.
