High-flying Victor Boniface has said Bayer Leverkusen are the “perfect” club for him after a super start to life in the Bundesliga.
The exciting striker has scored 10 goals and delivered six assists since his summer transfer to the Bundesliga from Belgium.
He has also bagged both the Bundesliga Player of the Month as well as the Rookie of the Month Awards.
“Bayer Leverkusen are the perfect club for me because they develop young players like me,” Victor Boniface said in a special TV documentary highlighting his rise in Germany.
The 22-year-old striker, who described himself as a funny and “chilled guy” outside the pitch, was top scorer in the UEFA Europa League last season with six goals.
It was the form that prompted Leverkusen to splash 20 Million Euros for his shooting boots in the summer.
He has so far netted twice in his favourite competition and he said he is always “proud” to score in Europe.
Tonight, Leverkusen travel to Qarabag of Azerbaijan in continuation of the Europa League.
