Coach Eric Chelle is most likely to stick with the starting XI against Rwanda for today’s equally important 2026 World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe, but strikers Victor Boniface, Sadiq Umar and Tolu Arokodare could still be called upon in the course of the match.
Arokodare, for one, made his Super Eagles debut against Rwanda Friday when he replaced two-goal hero Victor Osimhen late in the second half.
In the team’s final training Monday in Uyo, Victor Boniface, Sadiq and Arokodare also had a chance to feature for what appears to be the starting XI.
The final training game was high on intensity as all the players pushed for a starting spot.
