Super Eagles goalkeeper and die-hard Manchester United fan Francis Uzoho has said he has “totally forgiven” Casemiro after a clash with the latest signing of his darling club resulted in a major knee injury that almost ended his career.
Uzoho was referring to the incident with the Brazil star in a friendly against the Super Eagles in Singapore in 2019, which led to the injury that sidelined him for a year.
The goalkeeper landed awkwardly and twisted his knee as he attempted to beat the ball away from Casemiro.
He was forced out of the game for Maduka Okoye to make his Eagles debut.
“You nearly ended my career back then in Singapore but I forgive you totally now cos GGMU,” Uzoho tweeted today.
The friendly ended in a 1-1 draw.
