Former Katsina United striker Martins Usule has told SCORENigeria his new club Enyimba will advance to the first round of the CAF Champions League despite losing 1-0 at Rahimo of Burkina Faso last week.
Usule made his debut and played all the 90 minutes for Enyimba against Rahimo in Burkina Faso.
The former Niger Tornadoes star said: “We were just a bit unlucky not to have forced them to a 1 – 1 draw because we created a lot of scoring opportunities but luck was not on our side on the day.
“However, it’s a game of football and we have put the narrow defeat behind us and are focused to reverse this in Aba.
“This is a must-win game and we will do so with plenty goals.”
The Kaduna-born striker further said the whole team are aware of the task to advance to the next stage of the Champions League.
“Everybody in the team is aware of the task ahead. We just have to score two unreplied goals and we will be there,” he said.
“With the calibre of players in the camp it’s not an impossible task.”
Usule has teamed up with league champions Enyimba after he scored 12 goals in all competitions for Katsina United last season.
