Terem Moffi will lead the Super Eagles attack this afternoon against Benin ahead of Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface as coach Finidi George has made three changes from the starting XI.
We first reported that the Bayer Leverkusen striker will start, but we have since confirmed that will not be the case.
Paul Onuachu, who started as top striker against South Africa Friday night, has therefore dropped to the bench.
Kelechi Iheanacho has lost his place to Samuel Chukwueze, while midfielder Frank Onyeka is the other change from the starting XI as he has come in for goal scorer Fisayo Dele Bashiru.
Finidi has thus kept faith with a defence that leaked any time South Africa came calling.
