Kelechi Iheanacho is “unhappy” as he has yet to play at the AFCON and so opted out of today’s CAF official pre-match conference in Bouake.
Leicester City striker Iheanacho was slated to accompany coach Jose Peseiro for today’s official presser.
A source told SCORENigeria: “It is not unconnected with the fact that he is not happy as he has yet to see action.”
However, Eagles spokesman Babafemi Raji told reporters at the press conference it was the decision of the team for Ola Aina to replace Iheanacho.
