Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has said he is yet to know whether Victor Osimhen will feature in tomorrow’s AFCON semifinal against South Africa.
The Napoli striker did not travel with the rest of the Super Eagles to Bouake for the AFCON semis Monday night as an official statement revealed he is suffering from an abdominal discomfort.
“We can’t give you an answer (whether Osimhen will play or not),” Peseiro said at today’s press conference in Bouake.
“This has to do with his health.
“This afternoon I will know better if he can play or not.”
Osimhen,25, did not train with the team in Abidjan Monday night.
He has scored a goal and made an assist at the AFCON after he finished as the leading scorer in the qualifiers with 10 goals.
