Anthony Ujah is delighted to help his German Bundesliga 2 side Eintracht Braunschweig trounce FC Nuremberg 4-1 in a league game.
The former FC Cologne hitman scored in the 44th minute to bring the scores to 2-2.
He went on to assist Fabio Kaufman for the fourth goal in the 61st minute.
“I am very, very happy. Of course it’s up to us strikers to score goals, but we fought really well. We kept coming back and scoring the goals,” Ijah said.
“I am personally very happy with my goal, that gives me a lot of confidence.
“I hope it’s just one of many goals. We talked and worked a lot as a team during the week. We knew we had to score now. We are trying to keep the mentality high.”
Ujah has previously played for Union Berlin, Mainz, Werder Bremen, FC Cologne (all in Germany), Lillestrom (Norway) and Liaoning Hongyung (China).
