Olanrewaju Kayode scored again for Sivasspor as compatriot Samuel Chukwueze helped Villarreal to a second straight win in the UEFA Europa League.
Kayode opened scoring in the 55th minute only for the advantage to be cancelled soon after by visiting Maccabi Tel Aviv, who ran away 2-1 winners.
This was Kayode’s second goal of the competition after he also hit target in a 5-3 loss at Villarreal last week.
Sivasspor had to play a man short from the 67th minute when a player received his second booking of the night.
In the other match of the group, Villarreal won 3-1 at Qarabag with Chukwueze providing the assist for the La Liga club to lead 2-1 in the 84th minute.
