It was a tale of hero and villain for Nigeria stars as Peter Olayinka, fresh from overcoming Coronavirus, emerged match winner for Slavia Prague, while Victor Osimhen was sent off for Napoli in continuation of the UEFA Europa League.
Olayinka came off the bench to cause a penalty for his Czech club against Bayer Leverkusen, which unfortunately was missed.
Undeterred, he went on to grab the winning goal for Slavia Prague in the 80th minute.
In Spain, Osimhen was sent off for the first time in his career when he received his second booking in another Europa League clash at Real Sociedad.
He was first booked in the 81st minute, before he got the marching orders on 90 minutes for dangerous play.
This was before his headed effort was canceled for an infringement.
Thankfully, Napoli recorded their first win in the group stage courtesy of a lone goal.
