Uche Agbo has told SCORENigeria he hopes to play more regularly at new club Sporting Braga after he completed his loan transfer from Belgian club Standard Liege.
He said last season he was hampered by illness and injury.
“My greatest setback last season was injury, but now I am back and better. I just want to play football and enjoy more playtime. That was one of the reasons I moved to Braga,” he explained.
He praised the profile of his latest team.
“FC Braga are one of the best clubs in the Portuguese league and I joined them after I made enquiries about the club,” he said.
“Elderson Echiejile, who I played with in the Super Eagles, played in this team as well as some other Nigerians.”
The versatile player is in the last year of his contract at Standard.
