Turkish Super Lig club Goztepe will soon reward star midfielder Obinna Nwobodo with a new and improved contract after some highly impressive performances.
Nwobodo has been the shining star of Goztepe, who have now shot to safety by the second round of the season after they won their first four matches.
The former Enugu Rangers star leads the Super Lig in various statistics including winning duels (220) and ball recovery (94 times).
Goztepe recently rejected a three Million Dollars bid by Major League Soccer (MLS) club Cincinnati for the 25-year-old Nwobodo.
The former youth international has a contract with the Izmir club till June 2023.
