Cyriel Dessers has already made a name for himself as a Super Sub at top Dutch club Feyenoord, but the striker has said he wishes for more game time.
Dessers quit Genk to get more playing time at Feyenoord this season, but that has not really changed the time of action he now gets.
“Despite the fact that my statistics are good, I am not completely satisfied. Everything is positive, except for the number of playing minutes I get,” Dessers told the television programme Extra Time.
“Apparently I always have the bad luck that I have to compete against very strong competitors.
“At Genk I played against a phenomenal Onuachu who became top scorer. At Feyenoord the same is happening with Bryan Linssen. Actually unimaginable!”
Dessers has netted eight goals in all competitions thus far and Feyenoord have a clause in his loan deal to buy him permanently at the end of the season.
