It will most certainly be a first training to forget for new Genk signing Yira Sor after a ball struck him hard in the face.
Sor signed for the Belgian table toppers from Czech champions for around 6.5 Million Euros this past week.
However, he did not go straight into full squad training till Tuesday, which was the team’s first session for 2023.
During training he was hit in his face by the ball from close range and had to be attended to by the medics for some time.
Ghana star Joseph Painstil saw a funny side to the incident.
“Welcome to Genk,” he was reported by Het Belang van Limburg to have told the Nigeria winger.
